Relationships especially marital relationships take work to thrive. Some say that if it is love you should not have to work at it but I know that to be an untruth.
You have known that couple where on the outside it all seemed perfect until it wasn’t. Maybe you have been a part of that couple. The truth is that no couple is perfect because no person is perfect. You can be better though if you work together. To quote scripture it says in Ecclesiastes 4:9 Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their labour. Labour or work is necessary if a marriage is to not just survive but thrive until death. A marriage will thrive if both parties remember that “we are better together”. Healthy communication, respect, and working to grow as a couple is required.
